Hello Beautiful humans!

Nice to meet you! My name is Susie Huynh, a Melbourne based photographer and full time mama of 3 beautiful kids and wife to my loving husband - yet so much more! I have a ridiculous amount of wit and humour, which I can’t use to my full potential at home to my children, so I like to sprinkle it here and there so I scratch that little itch. But more importantly I have a huge love for my God and my creator, and I do all things to glorify Him, because without Him, I don’t have anything as everything was a gift and a blessing given to me.

How did I get to this point where this is my job? It’s a long story - so I’ll cut it short. Growing up I’m Asian, it was ingrained in me at a young age to study hard and to do a job that “makes me money”. Not understanding that true wealth doesn’t lie in the materialistic things from this world, but rather in the rewards I get from helping people. This job for me is so much more than just clicking a button. It is being able to freeze time, and capture the moments that truly matter. We go through life with so much hustle and bustle, that often we forget to slow it down and just be present. This is what I love to capture, being able to tell that story and to look back when life takes you on a journey that you didn’t expect.

We are too often our own worst critic, so I want you to see your children, your husband or wife, and yourself as beautiful and as pure as I see them, the way that God made you, fearfully and wonderfully made. Captured in the most raw, unguarded and candid moments. I truly look for the moments between the moments so that you can always look back and cherish this time in your life. Too often do we take life for granted, so let me help you capture that and forever lock it in your memories.

Which is why my packages include print products, because what is the point of it all when all you can see in your images is a tiny picture on an iPhone screen? You will not understand the beauty of the time spent together and captured unless you flick through your own album and have that rush of emotion fill your soul.
